THE PARISH PICNIC WILL BE HELD ON AUGUST 29TH AT NOON.  LOCATION: WHITAKER PARK ON THE CORNER OF UNIVERSITY TERRACE & WASHINGTON STREET.  BRING A DISH TO SHARE.  HOT DOGS & HAMBURGERS WILL BE PROVIDED.

Friday, Aug. 27 at 5:30 PM a Newman BBQ on the church patio.  Bring a friend.  Food is provided and Free!

Tues.   Aug. 31. at Noon    "Lunch with the Pastor" ( Fr. Vince is ready to go!!) Topic: Adjusting, Re-adjusting to College Life.  Food is provided & Free.  

Wed. Sept. 1st.   First Student Mass for the Semester   8:30 PM

 Sat. Sept. 11  at 5:00 AM   Dawn Patrol (Reno Balloon Races) we will   meet in the parish hall, have breakfast & walk up to the park.

Our Lady of Wisdom Parish is a sacramental community of faith, guided by the Holy Spirit and centered in the celebration of the Eucharist.  The mission of Our lady of Wisdom is an outreach to university students, young adults, and all others who support this mission.   We share the mission of the Catholic Church to make known the presence of God's saving love as revealed to us by Jesus Christ.  We are dedicated to praise and worship God, to foster spiritual growth and conversion, to nurture our community , and to reach out to all people in their spiritual an temporal needs.
